Yoga & Wellbeing Teacher

Heather has led yoga sessions on both sides of the Atlantic – her native Scotland and Seattle where she was based for some years. Heather started learning about yoga to improve her own core strength and help with aches and pains she developed in her previous high pressure career in the fast–paced pharma industry. A first class graduate of Physiology from the University of Edinburgh, she worked around the world in clinical research for over a decade, helping to bring novel treatments in oncology, cardiology, rare genetic indications amongst others to market but she always felt our Western approach to medicine was missing something. She found the practice invaluable – so much so that she trained at the Classical Yoga School and her career has taken off in an entirely new direction.

In 2017, Heather trained with top-UK life-coach Dawn Breslin in her Harmonizing Life Alignment process, demonstrated to increase confidence and tackle issues such as burn-out, stress management, anxious and depressive mood and fulfilling life goals. She now combines yoga with a coaching process to and runs 10 week courses and short retreats alongside her yoga classes.
